TBT

I have often wondered about this TBT I keep randomly seeing on social media. I have to say that a few days ago, I expierenced déjà vu, when I took a step back in time and took Vera to the playground down the street from our old house. I would walk the kids there Every, Day. Warm, cold, no matter! Vera was very excited when she got to play in the sandbox and loved watching the boats go by. Therefore, I can only assume that TBT is throw back Thursday! I would love to post a picture here but I really have to dig, and since out life is on hold while we build, these cute ones of V will have to do! 

In other news, the house is coming along nicely and David is doing a great job! Every day there is a new headache, but I suppose it comes with the territory. He was even able to sneak off and deplete the oceans mahi mahi supply!

Remley has been busy learning, and Growing up! I catch myself looking at her and thinking she looks 20! She has had a great school year and just finished standardized testing. Second highest in her class!

I got to attend Rhett's field trip to the park where we caught bugs, scooped up tadpoles and played. Unfortunatley, Rhett expierenced his first sting, so I am glad I was there! He was pretty brave though!

Warm days of summer seem to finally have arrived and are here to stay! Strawberries and watermelon and good dinner with friends.. Charleston life is good! 

Happy birthday to my honorary 4th child Bella!! 

Mashewske Wedding

My good friend Alecia had a wedding also on Easter weekend. The weather didn't cooperate but the fun and love prevailed!! And the bride was beautiful! Love them both and had a great time celebrating. Congrats to the newlyweds Jake and Alecia!

Took the girls for a haircut this weekend.. Vera's first! The sisters look sweet!

We also participated in a super cool GPS egg hunt!

And have started "swimming"!!

Easter

Vera and the Bunny

Well, no smiles this year! A memory, nevertheless! Vera has quite the vocabulary these days, but it was just a straight scream when I put her on the rabbit's lap!

On happier days, she loves to say "RRRheeee-tt", she also says turtle, noodle, nose, eyes, mouth, boo boo, and lots of other ones as well! She even knows how to count! Guess she hears a lot of threatening "ONE, TWO..." being yelled! 

In other news, the house is coming along!! Rough in's this week! 

And just for comparison... here is Remley and her little sister comparison. I though we were going to have brown hair, but based on this picture, Vera could still turn into a blonde!

Rhett and the missing tooth!

Three kids sure do keep a wanna be blogger busy! Just a quick update... House is coming along. Framing is almost finished! Rhett has lost his first tooth and Vera is ready for summer! Remley started soccer and Rhett is playing baseball so look for pictures to come! Just a few recent shots are below;
