August 22 was Remley's first day of KINDERGARTEN at Harbor View Elementary! Her teachers are Mrs. Killingsworth and Mrs. Hehn and shes a pirate in K-3. The year has gone great! She has made lots of new friends and has learned so much already!

Remley K-3

Rhett T-K

Rhett started in transitional kindergarten at the Island School in Ms. Kate's class. He has also done so well, going from a scribble to fine penmenship in only a few short months. Their parents sure are proud of both of them!
One cute thing they say that I haven't the heart to correct is "aneraser" - I suppose this comes from us saying, "can you hand me an eraser" or "why don't you use an eraser" - so now they think that is the word! They both will say things like, "I dropped my aneraser".... ah, the little things :0

Remley also was thrilled to realize she had a loose tooth on Sept 6. Less than a month later, on Oct 2, she lost it (while at school). Her teachers took special care of it and sent it home with her and Remley was so excited when she awoke to find that the tooth fairy had come and left her a tiny special note with pixie dust, as well as a glittery $5 bill.

 Another tooth followed so she is officially a "snaggle tooth" with two missing next to each other.

The summer was spent with time split between the boat, beach, and pool. We took a trip to Edisto with neighbors Mary Shannon, Arthur, Bella, Rowdy, Traci, Carmen and Matson. We also spent a week at Ocean Ridge with our cousins.

In May, we revealed the news we were going to have another baby (on Mother's Day!) And after a long wait until July.. when we found it was going to be a .....
GIRL!
I couldn't pick just one gender reveal idea, so I combined a couple and played a few tricks! We told my parents first. They came over and ate a cupcake, filled with colored filling... only Bubby got BLUE and GiGI got PINK... what??! NO, not twins! Next, we took them outside along with Rhett and Remley and we opened the box... Pink balloons told the truth!
For friends and loved ones far away, I made a video montage and set it to music...Hellooo.... I love you ... Won't you tell me your name.... Then into.... Oh Boy! Oh Boy! ..... and another big JUST KIDDING .... into HEY HEY Baby... I wanna knooooowwwwww.. if you'll be my GIRL!!

Disney/Rhett Turns 4

First Day at Disney

In May, we took a fun trip to Orlando with Mimi, Mikey, Aunt Jamie, Uncle Eric and cousins Cannon and Cally. Boy, did we have lots of fun. Most days started by 9am at the parks and many nights ended with magical fireworks, light shows, and midnight bedtimes.

The weather was beautiful all week and lines were short. We celebrated Rhett's 4th birthday with Mickey too. And on Mother's Day, we revealed some big news...
