Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone! We have been busy as usual and sometimes its tough for me to remember what all we have been up to. Good thing for pictures! On Friday, we kicked off the weekend with a visit to the Easter Bunny. Vera didn't seem to mind her first "character" (as Remley calls them), though she has shown some stranger anxiety lately.

Fruit Basket from Mimi and Mikey

We spent the afternoon at Bubby and GG's. There was piles of dirt and a bobcat to play with - the kids were in heaven. For some reason, this series of photo's reminds me of the book Are you my Mother? when the "snort" picks the baby bird up and puts him right back in his nest.

as well as Easter egg hunts. Remley was the winner of the chalk egg decorating contest this year and won a special basket!


The Easter bunny made an appearance and left baskets full of goodies!

I am sad to report that we do not have a picture of the children with a live bunny this year for two reasons. One, they are in two different schools and Two, I forgot to dress Rhett in his Easter finest and he ended up in his camouflage jacket holding a live bunny. It was kind of hunter-ishly eerie...
