Bubby and GG took the kids (+Bella) to Bee City Honeybee Farm and Petting zoo this weekend.

Ready to go! |
The petting zoo had domestic and exotic animals, which included deer, monkeys, lemurs, wallabies, alpacas and llamas. The nature center featured snakes from SC as well as lizards, turtles, frogs & alligators. - Also, they had chickens with feathered feet! No pictures of the bees though...?!

About as close as Remley got to the animals... except the ALLIGATOR! |

Meanwhile, back at the homestead, more packing, more packing and more packing! Our lovely home is mostly empty, stripped of pictures and many beds. It is just the necessities that remain. It is somewhat bittersweet, but even empty, it looks like such a cool house! I will miss it! (Well, sort of!) Vera helped us take some loads to the "rental" house. As you can see below, Vera was very excited when I showed her the closet (her first)! Or maybe she liked the carpet! She is standing and taking steps when she feels confident, from one piece of furniture to another, if it is almost in arm's length. Won't be long though, and she will be playing tag with R&R!
